I’m a big fan of ordering products online, but hate the packaging that most companies use to ship their goods. Up until recently, most companies were using plastic envelopes, plastic bubble wrap or worse, those dreaded styrofoam peanuts.
Lately, I have started to notice a shift and several of the vendors I order products from are using compostable paper to wrap products with either compostable or recyclable packaging for shipping*. I’m so impressed and when it comes time to place orders, these are the vendors that will get my business.
I urge you to choose vendors that are using eco friendly packaging and are making a shift that benefits Mother Earth.

*One note is that I live in a city that offers both commercial composting and recycling as part of the trash service. I do recognize the household composting can be more challenging with shipping materials.
